Foundation Huntu pa e Yu
What do they do? What is their specialty?
We provide support for children and adults who need extra guidance. Huntu specializes in autism, but our approach also works well for individuals with ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety issues, depression, or for people who need clarity, are highly sensitive, or are experiencing burnout.
A formal diagnosis is not required to receive help.
We focus not only on the person asking for support, but also on assisting the family or environment to restore or maintain balance between load and capacity. Our goal is to help children or adults participate in society in a pleasant and suitable way.
We emphasize learning to cope with challenges and limitations through a solution-focused approach. We also work on increasing independence and building on strengths. Support is adjusted as much as possible to the wishes and needs of the individual. Additionally, we offer dyslexia support and guidance on discussing gaming behavior.
How can people access their services?
You can contact us directly; no referral needed.
Wat does it cost?
We do not offer free or low-cost therapy, and services are not covered by SVB.
In some cases, subsidies can be requested through SIFMA.
